Statement of Faith

It is important to me that you know what I believe so you can know whether these resources are right for you and your ministry. Here is what I believe. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at julie@lovingchristministries.com.

  1. I believe the Bible is the inspired, completely trustworthy Word of God -- the foundation for everything I create and everything I teach. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:21)
  2. I believe in one all-powerful, holy Creator God, perfectly expressed in the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 3:16-17; Matthew 28:19; John 10:30)
  3. I believe Jesus is the Son of God, equal with the Father. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died in our place, rose on the third day, and now sits at the right hand of the Father. One day He will return in power and glory -- and I am living and working in light of that. (Isaiah 7:14; John 10:30; Hebrews 4:15; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Revelation 19:11)
  4. I believe we are saved by faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ -- not by anything we do or accomplish on our own. Grace is the whole story. (John 3:16-19; Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:9-10; Titus 3:5)
  5. I believe in the resurrection of all people and that this life is not the end of the story. What comes after is real, and it matters deeply. (John 5:28-29)
  6. I believe the Holy Spirit lives in every believer and is the one who enables us to grow, lead, and love well. Anything good that comes from this ministry comes from Him. (Romans 8:13-14; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20; Ephesians 4:30)
  7. I believe the Church -- the global body of believers -- is God's plan for reaching the world with the Gospel. When women gather together in His name, something powerful happens, and I get to play a small part in supporting that. (Matthew 18:20; Ephesians 4:11-13; Hebrews 10:24-25)
