Synopsis:
In The Bake Sale Breakdown, a group of women from the church gather in the kitchen to prepare for an upcoming bake sale—but it's not just the muffins that get overheated. Carla, a well-meaning but overwhelmed perfectionist, is determined to make everything flawless. As she frantically tries to control every detail, her friends Debbie, Erica, and Pam gently step in—not just to help with the baking, but to remind her of a deeper truth.
As the morning unfolds with spilled flour, burnt banana bread, and a few laughs along the way, Carla begins to unravel. Her fear of failure and desperate need to “get it right” reflect a pressure many women carry silently. Through Scripture, shared stories, and honest conversation, her friends lead her back to the heart of the Gospel: our confidence doesn’t come from perfection, performance, or public approval—it comes from Christ alone.
