Six women stay behind in the fellowship room after the last session. Coffee cups, folders, a loose circle of chairs. Michelle asks what God showed them this weekend, and for a minute nobody wants to go first.
Then Debra admits the church smile isn't real, and the room changes.
Victory Looks Like This is an original Christian skit written exclusively for Loving Christ Ministries. Seven women, a circle of chairs, and the kind of honesty that usually takes a whole weekend to earn. It's also the largest cast in the collection, which makes it a good choice when you want to put more women on their feet.

SYNOPSIS
In Victory Looks Like This, the testimonies come out one at a time and none of them are tidy. Lisa lost her job six months ago and realizes she is victorious now, not once somebody hires her. Tammy admits she has been confusing busyness with worth, and heard God say He loves her when she does nothing at all. Karen reveals she lost her husband last year, and that this weekend is her first retreat since, and that she nearly turned the car around.
Janice is the one who names it. Victory isn't shiny and it isn't a finish line. It's getting up and believing again. Michelle has each woman write her battle on one side of a card and a truth on the other, and the skit ends with all six saying Romans 8:37 together.
