Penny rushes into the Marvelous Magical Mirror Maker just before closing, desperate for help. Alice has plenty on offer. The golden Happy Flier. The chef's hat mirror. The Cartoon Kid. Penny turns down every one of them, because she isn't looking for sparkle.
She wants a reflection that hides the wrinkles, the ten bad days in a row, and the three rejections.
Wonderfully Made is an original Christian skit written exclusively for Loving Christ Ministries. Three women, a plain stage, and no props required at all. If you have ever wanted to do a skit and talked yourself out of it because of the set, this is the one to start with.
Wonderfully Made was written for the theme bundle Fearfully and Wonderfully Made and pairs beautifully with any message about identity, self-worth, and seeing ourselves the way God sees us.
SYNOPSIS
In Wonderfully Made, Penny is put together on the outside and coming apart on the inside. She has had ten bad days in a row, three rejections, and no evidence left that she isn't a failure. Alice tries the whole novelty collection, and none of it touches what Penny actually came in for. So Alice walks her to a mirror that isn't part of the collection and isn't for sale, and then steps to the back of the shop.
The mirror speaks. It tells Penny that God knows when she sits and when she rises, that He knit her together, that He sees her heart rather than her failures. Penny argues with it, which is what makes the scene land. She blames God for making her a failure before she is willing to hear that she is fearfully and wonderfully made.

Three women. Two appear on stage and the third speaks as the Mirror from offstage, which makes that part a good fit for someone who would rather not be seen. Performance time is approximately 7 minutes. The Mirror carries the entire second half, so cast a reader who can slow down and mean it.
